We're back, making the transitions back to life per usual here in Springfield...and we're blessed.
We miss the simplicity of our time in Scotland, the genuine hospitality, the freshness of the sea, the colors of sky and water, the sounds of seagulls, listening to the BBC throughout the day, the lilt and poetry of the Scottish dialect. Each day was a good day: rainy days meant refreshment from weeks of heat and drought. Bright days brought all the colors of heaven and earth to life. Gale force windy days drove us indoors to fires and books and painting and talking.
