Ken liked this painting so much that he wanted to collaborate with me on a children's story about a blue cow and a five-legged bird. Title to be determined.
Last week's scrap of canvas morphed into this week's study for a larger canvas. I'm trying to be more direct and loose with my style. I hope that I didn't overwork this piece. Some of the strokes came directly from the paint tube or with the barest end of the palette knife.
I need to let this one rest for a while and then I'll look at it again. I want to keep it fresh.
with my new standing/sitting desk. Taking this shot forced me to clean up my desk (a little). I still have ugly cords but Matt in the Support Center made them as tidy as he could.
As a little contrast, here's another corner of the office (not so industrial looking).

Instead of just looking at these less-than-stellar photos, please come by the Moxie during the month of March and see them for yourself. And watch a terrific film (or two or three). Or purchase the painting of the three bowls of fruit to support the Moxie. Or buy a packet of cards to support the Lespwa Timoun clinic and ministry in Croix des Bouquets, Haiti.
