Last week's scrap of canvas morphed into this week's study for a larger canvas. I'm trying to be more direct and loose with my style. I hope that I didn't overwork this piece. Some of the strokes came directly from the paint tube or with the barest end of the palette knife.
I need to let this one rest for a while and then I'll look at it again. I want to keep it fresh.
