But it's a start. It's part of the excitment of taking a trip. What to take? What to leave? How much do I really want to carry?
We talked at breakfast this morning about what we are looking forward to during our time in Germany and Denmark: being together, feeling drastically cooler temperatures, visiting sites (religious and historical) that have so much meaning to us as Christians and as history-lovers, eating new foods, walking the streets and the hills, exploring new terrains, staying in a castle.
I don't know how much I'll get to blog (that's a verb, right?) while we're gone, but I look forward to compiling a book and uploading some photos after we return.
We feel so blessed to be able to take this trip, especially now. We've been waiting to exhale for some time.
